Preserving Memories, Connecting Generations
About the Digital Memory Project
The Digital Memory Project is a global volunteer initiative dedicated to preserving the life stories of elderly people. Volunteers — often starting with their own grandparents or community elders — record interviews and transform them into digital short stories, podcasts, and videos. Together, we’re creating a living archive that connects generations and celebrates the wisdom of those who came before us.

Mission
Our Commitment
Our mission is to bridge generations by preserving memories. We empower young people to connect with elders in their families and communities, listen to their stories, and share them in creative digital formats. By building a global library of human experiences, we aim to fight loneliness, honor cultural heritage, and ensure that the voices of the past continue to inspire the future.
We believe that every story matters — and that preserving them helps us build a kinder, more connected world.
Community Voices
Every story in our library is the result of a special bond between an elder willing to share their memories and a volunteer committed to listening.
